Daisy Panaligan, Young Voices’ Pride

Daisy Panaligan is a member of Young Voices- Metro Manila. She is an amputee since birth.

Daisy is multi-talented, being a ballroom-dancer on wheels and a PWD athlete. She has been actively participating in major activities of the Young Voices (YV). In fact, together with another YV-Manila member, Argie Ergina, she performed some dance numbers during the East-Asia Pacific Regional Young Voices Meeting held last December 2011 at the Bayview Park Hotel

As an athlete, she recently brought home two gold medals and one silver medal in the recent sixth Asean Paragames in Solo, Indonesia, and for being an inspiration to other youth with disabilities to achieve their goals in life.

Through her personal success, we want to encourage other youth with disabilities to try to realize their full potential. Daisy could be a role model for other youth with disabilities.
